How Ojea compares.

No Instagram login. No reconstructed past. A public @, a baseline, then dated differences between two readings.

Three steps, then we compare.

Analysing an @ takes a minute. Understanding what moved takes a second reading: that is how it actually works, not a marketing shortcut.

  1. Step 1

    Enter their @

A public username is enough. No password, no Instagram login.

    @instagram_username
  2. Step 2

    Ojea takes a baseline

This first reading is the comparison point. Nothing is invented before that date: history starts here.

  3. Step 3

You get told when it changes

On each new reading, the difference becomes an event. If nothing happened, you still get the “nothing to report” report.

    New follow detected
Nothing to report · 4 readings
  1. Straight away

Baseline: a photo of the public profile.

  2. About 6 hours later

    First useful comparison.

  3. Every day

Alerts and a report, including “nothing to report”.

Accuracy

We would rather be exact than impressive.

  • A difference, not live surveillance

Ojea photographs the public state of the profile, then compares the next photo with the previous one. An event is a difference between two photos.

  • A detection window, never a fake time

Instagram does not publish the time of a follow. Ojea therefore shows the real interval between the two readings, in Paris time.

  • Nothing before the first reading

No history is rebuilt. What happened before your baseline is not known, and Ojea will not pretend otherwise.

Current frequency: a reading about every 6 hours, so 4 a day. That value is the one the scheduler actually applies, not a marketing promise.

Plainly

What Ojea does, and what it does not.

Better to say it here than let you think we read a private account or timestamp a follow to the second.

  • They receive nothing

Ojea does not like, follow or message. Your searches stay in your account.

  • Public accounts only

A private profile is refused. We do not bypass Instagram, and we will never ask you to log in.

  • No password

Not yours, not theirs. A public @ is enough to start a baseline.

  • Useful from the 2nd reading

The first pass photographs the profile. The first comparison arrives on the next reading, about six hours later.
